Every step a beat, every move a spark

Acrobatic dance is a fusion of dance and acrobatics. It combines the graceful movements of dance with the strength and agility of acrobatics, resulting in a visually stunning and physically challenging art form.

Here's what you can expect in a Acro dance class:

  • Warm-up

This prepares the body for the more strenuous activities to come, focusing on flexibility, strength, and coordination.

  • Technique

This is where dancers learn the proper form for acrobatic skills such as handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and tumbling passes.

  • Choreography

Dancers learn how to incorporate acrobatic skills into dance routines, often set to music. This can involve floor work, jumps, and lifts.

  • Conditioning

To safely perform and progress in acro dance, building strength and stamina is crucial. Conditioning exercises often target the core, legs, and arms.
